Mengapa isu ini penting
To our understanding, UM Varsity Jackets have traditionally been given to incoming students as a meaningful symbol of university pride and belonging. However, our 2025/2026 intake was seemingly left out of this tradition, while the latest 2026/2027 intake has received their jackets. While we appreciate the scarf, cap and umbrella provided to our batch, we feel that these items do not carry the same lasting sentimental value as a UM Varsity Jacket—something we could proudly wear and cherish even after graduation. We understand that there may be budgetary or logistical considerations behind this decision. Through this petition, we simply hope for clarification and fair consideration for our batch to receive the UM Varsity Jacket as well. Thank you for taking the time to hear our request. We sincerely hope that the 2025/2026 intake can be included in this meaningful university tradition.
